Dog House Display Red Oak: $183.00 Walnut: $198.00 Cherry: $199.00 Bloodwood: $214.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page. The "Dog House" Display is constructed of 7/8" solid hardwood of your choice. Cherry is shown here. The standard Dog House display is a mainstay and favorite with long standing tradition. We worked hard in our shop to provide a simple but elegant design that meets almost any requirement at a very affordable cost. The Dog House stands on a 3-1/2" wide x 23" Base and has a display field that measures 12 high x 18-7/8" wide. The length of this display area allows for up to 12 Medals side by side across the bottom. This Display can sit on a mantle or be hung on the wall. The vertical members and flag members are 3" deep. By design this Display is suited for a 3x5 Flag and will accept slightly larger (nothing over 4x6). As with all my Displays, it features 3/16" Plexiglas viewing panes which will not shatter or shard like glass in the case there is an accident in your home. This also allows me to ship anywhere in the World without the problem of breakage in shipment. Most cannot say that. This Display was built for CDR. Kemman who retired June 2007 out of the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Command at Dam Neck Naval Station, Virginia Beach, VA. We personalized his display with Flag Pins he had collected from Countries visited throughout his career. I have to thank CDR. Kemman for a new product we developed together for his retirement. He had an idea for a Gift Box to present to his children which detailed their travels in the Military. You can see this on the "Military Gifts" page. The "Big House" Display Red Oak: $207.00 Walnut: $228.00 Cherry: $230.00 Bloodwood: $252.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page. The "Big House" Display is constructed of 7/8" solid hardwood of your choice. Red Oak is shown here. The Big House display is a larger version of our Dog House a Military favorite with long standing tradition. This Display allows for as many as 15 Medals side by side across the bottom as shown. This Display is also taller allowing for a longer list of duty stations in our standard engraving package layouts. We worked hard in our shop to provide a simple but elegant design that meets almost any requirement at a very affordable cost. The Big House stands on a 4" wide x 27-1/2" Base and has a display field that measures 13-1/4" high x 23-1/4" wide. This can sit on a mantle or be hung on the wall. The vertical members and flag members are 4" deep. The Display pictured was built for Capt Pinson of Tactical Training Group Atlantic based at Dam Neck Naval Station, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Octagon Wall Display Red Oak: $188.00 Walnut: $201.00 Cherry: $202.00 Bloodwood: $215.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page. The "Octagon" Display is constructed of 7/8" solid hardwood of your choice. Red Oak is pictured here. The Octagon is one of two Displays we build that are meant to be wall hung. The Octagon is built with 8 identical sections each 3" deep. The Flag cross beam is trimmed to fit beneath the Plexiglas offering a one piece viewing pane for easy cleaning. By design this Display is suited for a 3x5 Flag and will accept slightly larger (nothing over 4x6). The Octagon measures 22-1/4" around its perimeter and has a display field that measures 13-1/4" high x 20-1/2" wide measuring the height in the center at it tallest point. As with all my Displays, it features 3/16" Plexiglas viewing pane which will not shatter or shard like glass in the case there is an accident in your home. This also allows me to ship anywhere in the World without the problem of breakage in shipment. This is our second most popular Display and is a great choice if you want to keep your Display on the wall and off of the Mantles or Book Cases. The Back is recessed to where the screws sit inside the wood frame and will not hit the wall. 20" x 26" Wall Display Red Oak: $201.00 Walnut: $217.00 Cherry: $218.00 Bloodwood: $234.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page. The "Wall" Display is constructed of 7/8" solid hardwood of your choice. Red Oak is pictured here. The Wall Display as its name implies is another design we build that is meant to be wall hung. The Wall Display is built with a 3" deep frame. The Flag cross beam is trimmed to fit beneath the Plexiglas offering a one piece viewing pane for easy cleaning. By design this Display is suited for a 3x5 Flag and will accept slightly larger (nothing over 4x6). The Wall Display measures 20" x 26" outside, and has a display field that measures 18-1/4" high x 24-1/4" wide less the flag which can be in any corner. As with all my Displays, it features 3/16" Plexiglas viewing pane which will not shatter or shard like glass in the case there is an accident in your home. This also allows me to ship anywhere in the World without the problem of breakage in shipment. This is another very popular Display and is a great choice if you want to keep your Display on the wall and off of the Mantles or Book Cases. The Back is recessed to where the screws sit inside the wood frame and will not hit the wall. Each corner is glued and screwed for durability over the years. The screw holes are plugged with matching solid hardwood plugs we cut from the same board the Display was built from maintaining the beauty of the case. 3D-Triple Pane Display Red Oak: $229.00 Walnut: $256.00 Cherry: $258.00 Bloodwood: $285.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page. The "3D Triple Pane" Display is constructed of 7/8" solid hardwood of your choice. Bloodwood is shown here. The 3-D effect comes from the center pane display field being moved 1" forward from the outside display fields. When I designed this Display my primary concern was "how to make the center case members so that they can have the same routered edge as the rest of the display". To accomplish this they had to be brought forward. Hummmm... why not bring the Display Field forward as well? Well long story short, the 3D Triple Pane is born and has it's own unique characteristics. The center display field is 8" wide and provides a focus point. The outside display fields are 9-1/2" wide. This Display is large and rock solid. It stands on a 4" wide x 33" long Base. The display field height is 12". The outside verticals are 2-3/4" deep while the interior verticals are 3-1/2" deep. The only design on the market that I know of that has the same routered edge on every board. As with all my Displays, it features 3/16" Plexiglas viewing panes which will not shatter or shard like glass in the case there is an accident in your home. This particular Display was built for AVCM(AW) John Cochran who retired out of CNATTU, NAS Oceana June 2007. For his Display we modified my standard 5-Plate Engraving Set by replacing the Awards Plate with an "Overseas Ports of Call" Plate. I was fortunate to have served with John at three Commands. Congratulations on a great career John! It was always a pleasure serving with you. The "Mantle" Display Red Oak: $207.00 Walnut: $229.00 Cherry: $231.00 Bloodwood: $253.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page.
This Display was built for AFCM(AW/SW) Cal Vander Molen. Cal is retiring September 2007 with a Ceremony date of July 6, 2007. It was many moons ago that Cal and I met...back when we were both able to run 5-6 miles. During my 1997 CPO Training Cal was there everyday. We made so many laps around Naval Station Norfolk that summer we all qualified to pitch Tennis Shoe Commercials. The only person who may not of enjoyed our early morning runs was the Admiral. Nothing like having 20+ CPO Selects stopping by every morning around 0530 for a personal serenade (you know he loved it). Cal... thanks for the many years of friendship and support. Juanita and I send our best wishes to you and your family. Good luck in all future endeavors! Burial Flag Dog House Display Red Oak: $246.00 Walnut: $267.00 Cherry: $269.00 Bloodwood: $290.00 Click on picture to enlarge and use the "back" button to return to this page. The "BF Dog House" Display is constructed of 7/8" solid hardwood of your choice. Walnut is shown here. The BF Dog House is the ultimate Display to encapsulate the memories and honor of our fallen Veterans. This case is designed large enough to hold the Casket Flag presented to our Families at the Burial Ceremonies. The case is built with a 4-1/2" wide x 27" long Base and Top Plate and 4" side and Flag members. The Display area measures 12" high x 22-3/4" wide and can hold many of the treasured memorabilia items from the career and family history of our loved one. As with all my Displays, it features 3/16" Plexiglas viewing panes which will not shatter or shard like glass in the case there is an accident in your home. I refer to this Display as "a piece of furniture". It is the largest standard Display we build and is very fitting for its purpose. An overall size of 26" high x 27" wide and being 4-1/2" deep makes this an eye catching piece that stands out in the crowded room. Everyone that enters the room will be drawn to this Display. What a great tribute to our Veteran! |
